PRO devices, suitable for support arm and extension components
Requirement

One of the following support arms or pedestal systems:
–
Support arm or pedestal with a round tube end diameter 48.3 mm, suitable for the
opening of the PRO device
–
Support arm or pedestal with mechanical interface suitable for flange of the flange
mount and Siemens flange mount
–
Support arm or pedestal with mechanical VESA interface, the corresponding Siemens
adapter set and the Siemens flange mount

The PRO device, all packaging components and protective films have been removed
●
The lower cover of the PRO device from the accessory kit
●
The following cables are fed through the pedestal or the support arm to which the device
is mounted:
–
Protective conductor
–
Power supply cable
–
Data cables, e.g. USB, DVI and DisplayPort connecting cable
Recommendation: Route large connectors, for example DVI or PROFIBUS, and their
cables through the pedestal or support arm first.
Procedure
The following description shows an example of how to attach the PRO device to a support arm system using the
optionally available Siemens flange mount. Mounting to a round tube that fits the opening of the PRO device is
performed in a similar fashion.
1. Loosen the 2 screws of the terminal
compartment cover and remove the
terminal compartment cover.
