4.2.1

Mounting locations

Recommended

●

Ambient temperature is always within -20 to +50 °C (-4 to +122 °F)

●

Device display window is at shoulder level, unless most interaction is through a SCADA

system

●

Local display buttons are easily accessible

●

Cable length requirements are minimized

●

Mounting surface is free from vibration

●

Sufficient room to swing device lid open

Avoid

●

Exposure to direct sunlight. (Provide a sun shield to avoid direct sunlight.)

●

Proximity to high voltage/current runs, contactors, SCR or variable frequency motor

speed controllers

Note
Recommended maximum torque for lid screws must not exceed 0.9 Nm (8 in-lbs).
