3.1 Initial startup of HiPath HG 1500

Note

Windows 3.11 is no longer supported.

3.1.1 Initial startup via a LAN port

Prerequisites

The network card with the TCP/IP protocol must function correctly. The HiPath HG 
1500 Assistant must be installed on the PC.

Step

Task

1.

Configure the IP address of the PC (10.144.233.64) in the network 
environment.

2.

Configure the gateway (10.144.233.63).

3.

From the DOS command window, ping the HiPath HG 1500 
(IP 10.144.233.63).

4.

Generate an empty customer database and load to HiPath HG 1500.

5.

Save and administer customer data.
