Date/time
Date and time on LP5100 are supported in two ways:
– SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol)
– Local time
If the SNTP server is not accessible as a result of configuration or
operational problems, the time and date can be set manually, and
the LP5100 will locally manage the update of the time, although
this may be subject to drift. If the SNTP server is accessible, the
time will be updated from this source overwriting any previously
manually set time. The sequence below shows how to program
the time and date manually. The entries are checked for plausibil-
ity, and in the event of an error a warning signal sounds when you
press "OK", and the cursor returns to the first input field. You can
now correct the entry or cancel the entry with "Stop". In the as-
supplied condition the time is entered as "00:00" and the date as:
"00.00.00".
