Checking successful installation

You will notice successful installation of talk&surf after rebooting your PC from the fol-

lowing:

u

Autostart

 of talk&surf when you start the PC (talk&surf monitor).

u

The 

status area of the task bar 

will have up to 3 new icons:

– talk&surf monitor

– dialler blocker

– switch between USB and wireless connection

u

The 

start menu

 has three new links:

– Start > Programs > Autostart > talk&surf Monitor

– Start > Programs > Gigaset > talk&surf 6.0 

– Start > Programs > Gigaset > (Base station) Firmware update

u

The 

driver manager

 of the Windows operating system (

Control panel > System

)

 

now includes the drivers for your base station and other drivers you have installed:
