Connecting the outdoor antenna

Connecting a PC wired

You can connect wired PCs to your Gigaset SX685 WiMAX to create a local area network
(LAN).
First connect just

one

PC to the Gigaset SX685 WiMAX. You can then carry out the gen-

eral configuration.

ì

Plug the connector of the antenna
cable into the

WiMAX

connector on

your Gigaset SX685 WiMAX and
screw tightly.
To remove the antenna cable plug,
unscrew it from the antenna connec-
tor and pull the plug out.

Connect one of the LAN
ports (

LAN1

–

LAN4

,

yellow

) on the Gigaset

SX685 WiMAX to the Eth-
ernet network card in
your PC. To do this, use
the LAN cable supplied
(CAT5,
