Accepting/rejecting call waiting
If you receive an
external
call during an
internal
call, you will hear the call waiting
tone (short tone). The caller's number or
name will appear in the display if caller ID
is enabled.
Ending an internal call, accepting an
external call
§Accept§
Press the Display key.
The internal call is
ended
. You are con-
nected to the external caller.
Rejecting the external call
§Reject§
Press the Display key.
The call waiting tone is turned off. You
remain connected to the internal partici-
pant. The ringer can still be heard on other
registered handsets.
Listening in to an external call
Requirement:
The
Listening In
function
must be activated.
You are conducting an external call. An
internal party can listen in on this call and
take part in the conversation. All the par-
ticipants are made aware of the "listening
in" by a signal tone.

Internal listening in
The line is busy with an external call. Your
screen will display information to that
effect. You want to listen in to the external
call.

hold
the Talk key.
You can listen in to the call. All parties hear
a signal tone. During this time, this hand-
set displays the
Conference
message, and it
is not possible to dial another number
from this handset.
Ending listening in
a
Press the End Call key.
All parties hear a signal tone.
If the
first
internal party presses the End
Call key
a
, the handset that has "lis-
tened in" remains connected to the exter-
nal party.
Changing the name of a handset
The names "INT 1", "INT 2," and so on, are
assigned automatically at registration.
You can change these names. The name
must be no more than 10 characters. The
changed name is displayed in every hand-
set's list.

Changing a handset's internal
number
A handset is
automatically
assigned the
lowest free number when it is registered.
If all slots are occupied, number 6 is over-
written if the handset is in idle status. You
can change the internal number of all reg-
istered handsets (1–6).
