key) and will be registered. The registration progress is shown in the window.
On successful registration, as well as in case of an error, an appropriate message
is output in the window.

Send own PIN
An automatically created PIN is shown.
To create a new PIN, click
Generate PIN
. Please note that any devices connected
with the old PIN no longer have access to the Gigaset SE365 WLAN.
Click OK to activate your settings.
Enter the generated PIN on all WLAN partner devices that are to establish a con-
nection.

You only use this option if the PIN of another device is used in your WLAN. Enter
the PIN of the WLAN partner device and click
OK
to activate your settings.
Setting encryption
To protect your wireless local network against eavesdropping and unauthorised access
to your data, you should set data encryption.

The encryption selected depends on your access point.

Check what type of encryption and which keys are set at the access point and make
the corresponding settings in the Gigaset SE365 WLAN.

The encryption selected depends on which methods are supported by all your wire-
less network components.

Set the corresponding encryption of your data on the Gigaset SE365 WLAN and then
on the other components in your wireless network.
Note:
If you have activated access control via the MAC address filter, only clients that are
already included in the MAC address list can register via WPS. The two PIN methods
are only possible in "Access point" operating mode.
Note:
If you have already performed WPS registration, WPS2-PSK/WPA-PSK encryption is set.
The following description only applies if you are not using WPS.
