Registering/de-registering
handsets
You can register up to six handsets on your
base station.
You can register one Gigaset S44 handset
on up to four base stations.
Manual registration of
Gigaset S44 to Gigaset S645
You must activate manual registration of
the handset at both the handset and the
base station.
After it has registered, the handset returns
to idle status. The internal number of the
handset appears in the display, e.g.
INT 1
.
Otherwise repeat the process.

base (the default is 0000) and

Registering other handsets
Register other Gigaset handsets and hand-
sets of other GAP-capable devices as fol-
lows.

Start to register the handset as
described in its user guide.
On the base

Press and hold the INT key on
the base station (page 2)
(approx. 3 sec.) within 60 sec.

De-registering handsets
You can de-register every other registered
handset from every registered
Gigaset S44 handset.

Open list of internal callers.
The handset you are currently
operating is marked with <.

Select internal callers to be de-
registered.

Open the menu.

Changing the base
If your handset is registered to more than
one base, you can set it to a particular
base or to the base that has the best
reception (
