Making calls with the handset

Calling Line Identification 

The number or name of the caller is dis-

played under the following preconditions: 

u

Your network provider supports CLIP, 

CLI. 
– CLI (Calling Line Identification): the 

number of the caller is transferred

– CLIP (Calling Line Identification Pres-

entation): number of the caller is 

displayed

u

You have requested CLIP from your net-

work provider. 

u

The caller has requested CLI from the 

network provider.

Call display with CLIP/CLI

You will see the caller's name if his 

number is in your directory.

Accepting/rejecting a 
waiting call

If you receive an external call during an 

internal call you will hear the call waiting 

tone (short tone). The number or name of 

the caller appears in the display with Call-

ing Line Identification. 

Cancel internal call, answer external call

Rejecting the external call

Press the display key.

The call waiting tone is turned off. You 

remain connected with the internal party. 

The ringtone is still audible on other regis-

Transferring a call internally

You can transfer (connect) an external call 

to another handset or the base station.
