Left display key as long as you
have not yet assigned a func-
tion to it (page 50).

The main menu or a situation-
dependent menu.

Delete key: delete character-
by-character from right to left.

Go back one menu level or
cancel the operation.

Open the e-mail directory.

Open the directory.

Copy the number into the
directory.

Divert an external call to the
answering machine.

Return to idle status
To return to idle status fom anywhere in
the menu:

and hold .

Press no key: After 2 minutes the dis-
play will return to idle status
automatically .

Menu management
Your telephone's functions are accessed in
a menu that has a number of levels.
Main menu (first menu level)

open the main menu.
The main menu functions are displayed as
coloured symbols.
Access a function, i.e. open the corre-
sponding sub-menu (next menu level):

Navigate to the function with the con-
trol key (

function is displayed in the display

Submenus
The functions in the submenus are dis-
played as lists.
