You can divert an incoming external call to
the answering machine.
Prerequisites:

Gigaset DX800A all in one, DX600A ISDN:
The call comes in on a receive connection
that is assigned to an answering machine.

The answering machine is activated and
not in use.
For calls to your analogue fixed line:

For calls to your ISDN connection or one of
your VoIP connections:

The phone you are using for remote
operation has tone dialling (DTMF) i.e.,
you hear different tones when you press
the keys.

The connection via which you call is
assigned to the answering machine as
a receive connection.
