Connecting the phone to
a PABX
The following settings are only necessary
when your PABX requires them; see the PABX
user guide.
You cannot send or receive SMS messages
on PABXs that do not support Calling Line
Identification.
Dialling modes and recall

Switching temporarily to
touch tone dialling (DTMF)
If your PABX still operates with dial pulsing
(DP), but you need touch tone dialling
(DTMF) for a connection (e.g. to listen to the
network mailbox) you must switch to touch
tone dialling for the call.
Precondition:
You are conducting a call or
have already dialled an external number.

Press the star key.
After the call is ended, dial puls-
ing is automatically activated
again.
