Setting dialling procedures

Tone dialling is used in the public network. If you are ope-
rating your telephone, for example, on a telephone sy-
stem, you may have to switch to another dialling procedu-
re.

To find out if your telephone is already set to the correct di-
alling procedure, lift the handset and enter a digit. If the dial
tone does not change when you enter the digit, you must
change the dialling procedure.

The dialling procedure is set to tone dialling (DTMF) on de-
livery. Possible settings:
