The vital comms ‘n’ link also sets the input names Remote ‘n’ Input 1 to Remote ‘n’ Input 15. 
These can then be used by the Internal channel and Equations, for example:

The bits to be transmitted over the link can be directly assigned in the Vital Comms Link ‘n’ Tx
