Warm-up phase and operating states
Warm-up phase
The FIDAMAT 6-G requires a warm-up phase of approx. 1 hour from its cold state.
Note
During the warm-up phase, you may not change the pressures!
The following sequence only applies if you haven't activated any other start-up state in
function 91!
In the warm-up phase, the device runs through the warm-up steps in the following order:
1.
Oven in heating phase
In this phase, the oven warms up (temperature can be called via function 2 "Diagnostic
values").
2.
Chamber in heating phase
The FID is warmed up.
3.
Combustion gas test
The device checks the combustion gas supply.
4.
Combustion air test
The device checks the combustion air pressure.
5.
Ignite
The flame is automatically ignited. The flame burns when the flame temperature is 20°C
higher than the oven temperature (can be called via function 2 "Diagnostic values").
Once the unit has detected that the flame is burning, the control system puts the unit into the
"standby" operating state. Only when you activate the zero, test or sample gas with function
62 (or via function 72 binary inputs) and the sample gas pressure (consisting of "zero, test or
sample gas" in conjunction with "combustion air") has exceeded the value 485 hPa (can be
set via function 92), the control switches to the "Measure" operating state.
During the warm-up phase, "WARMUP" appears in the bottom line of the measured value
display, alternately with the current warm-up step.
