Design

Design of the entire device

The FIDAMAT 6 is made up of two main groups:
a) Electronics
b) Analyzer section

a) Electronics

They consist of the following:

•

Operating board with display

•

Motherboard

•

Adapter board

•

Optional boards: PROFIBUS (DP/ PA), AUTOCAL

Here, the operating board is integrated in the front panel. The adapter board contains the

preamplifier for recording measured values and the control unit.

b) Analyzer section

It consists of an oven in which the following components are installed:

•

Flame ionization detector (FID)

•

Various restrictors

•

2 pressure regulators

•

2 pressure sensors

•

Solenoid valves

•

Bulkhead union 6 mm or 1/4″

The device is constructed such that the parts contained in it are easy to access in case of

servicing. It is both accessible from the top side (for maintaining the components) as well as

from the rear.
The gas connections and the electric connections are attached to the rear of the device.
