5 Repairs
5.1 General
The event memory, the status report and the support information of the controller
must be read out with the FibroManager BEFORE and AFTER the work and
must be stored for documentary purposes.
In the case of a repair, in addition to the repair report, the data from the event
memory, the status report and the support information must also be sent to the
technical support department of the manufacturer.
Before shutting-down the controller, all involved parties must be informed of the
maintenance and repair work.
5.1.1 Tools
The following tools are required for the opening of the controller as well as for the
disassembly and assembly of modules:
screwdriver Torx 8 (housing cover, optical ports panel, interface panel, cover of
the memory card)
screwdriver Torx 10 (power supply)
screwdriver Torx 20 (housing cover)
socketdriver SW 4.5 (threaded bolts Sub-D)
socketdriver SW 5 (lock nuts of threaded bolt Sub-D)
screwdriver flat head 4 mm (fuse holder)
screwdriver Phillips no. 2 (AC/DC voltage converter)
tweezers
anti-static service kit (replacement or expansion of interface cards, replacement
of power supply)
multi-meter with voltage and resistance measurement range
I/O Tester
storage container for loose screws.
