Application interface 2 (9-pin SubD connector). RS-232C interface with
2 data and 2 modem control lines: TXD1 and RXD1 plus RTS1 and
CTS1 for hardware handshake. Intended for GPRS data and AT
commands.
Connects to the module’s serial interface ASC1 (applicable only if
supported by the type of Siemens GSM module).

Summary of inner interfaces
The following inner interfaces are located inside the DSB45. They are only accessible when
the DSB45 PCB is not installed inside the housing.
Note: There is no ESD protection if the housing is open, removed or if the GSM module is
not installed inside the housing.
