Cables for AC 24 V triac outputs
and AC 24 V supply
The following applies to the cables of devices such as valves, damper actuators and
contactors connected to the triac outputs of the room controller:
– Use twisted, 2-core or multi-core round cable without a screen (standard installation
cable)
– Single conductors must not be used
– The conductors may be routed together with mains cables (AC 230 V), but they
MUST be insulated from the mains in accordance with regulations and in compliance
with SELV requirements.
– These conductors must
NOT be run in the same cable as mains conductors
– For max. cable lengths, see the table below
