The DCA Vantage system supports the following barcode symbologies:

•

Code 93

•

Code 39 with and without check digit

•

Code 128

•

Codabar without check digit

•

Interleaved 2 of 5 with and without check digit

Installing the External Barcode Reader

NOTE:

Connect the barcode reader hardware to the DCA Vantage system

before activating the software to use the external barcode reader.

1. Turn the system power off.

2. Connect the interface cable to the opening at the bottom of the handheld

reader.

3. Connect the other end of the cable to the external barcode reader port at

the back of the system.

5. Turn the system power on.
