Important notes
Only authorized personnel are permitted to make diagnostics, to rectify faults and
to restart the plant. This also applies to work carried out within the control panel
(e.g. safety checks or replacement of fuses).
The Climatix Touch panel products can only be used in the field of heating,
ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration.
Prerequisites for flawless and safe operation of the Climatix touch panel products
are proper transport, installation and commissioning, as well as correct operation.
Fuses, switches, wiring and grounding must comply with local safety regulations for
electrical installations.
The Climatix touch panel products may only be operated by personnel who have
been instructed by Siemens Building Technologies or their delegates and whose
attention has been drawn to potential risks.
When wiring the system, high voltage section must be strictly segregated from the
DC 24V (
±
15%) safety extra low-voltage (SELV) section in order to ensure
protection against electric shock hazard!
Always observe the limits for storage and transport specified.
The Climatix touch panel products are maintenance-free, apart from cleaning at
regular intervals. System sections accommodated in the control panel should be
free from dust and dirt whenever normal service visits are conducted.
Should system faults occur and you are not authorized to make diagnostics and
rectify faults, call your service personnel of Siemens Building Technologies.
The devices are considered electronics devices for disposal in terms of
European Directive 2012/19/EU and may not be disposed of as domestic
waste.
