Integrating the library into STEP 7 (TIA Portal)

The steps below define how to integrate the

LHcs4x00

library

into your STEP 7 project. Subsequently, you can use the blocks of the

LHcs4x00

library.

Note

The following section assumes that a STEP 7 project exists.

1. Unzip the file

109478117_HCS4x00_LIB_v22.zip

Display the “Libraries” task card in the project view of your TIA Portal project.

In the toolbar of the “Global libraries” palette, click the “Open global library”
icon or, in the menu, select “Options” > “Global libraries” > “Open library…”.

Result

The “Open global library” dialog opens.
