1.1

Overview

Introduction

To increase the quality and the quantity of a heat-treated product, it is important to
be able to precisely focus the required energy regarding time and space. Even
small deviations in the heating process may have a tremendous adverse effect on
the product quality.

SIPLUS HCS is the intelligent answer to sensitive thermal requirements in industry
and ensures highly precise control of resistive loads.

The SIPLUS HCS heating control system enables most precise and efficient
control of industrial heating elements, such as



for PET blow molding



for drying of varnishes and coatings



in the plastics-processing industry

Depending on the requirement, the SIPLUS HCS4200 and SIPLUS HCS4300
heating control systems are available to you, depending on the communication
design either via PROFINET or PROFIBUS.

Both heating control systems shall be controlled via the SIMATIC S7-1200/S7-1500
controller family. Furthermore, it shall be possible to evaluate diagnostic
information of the controller.
