The input/output address area for the central interface module (CIM) is used for
transferring the status and control bits (heating, operating mode, and power
compensation).
Additionally, the CIM4310 also supplies the measured system voltages of the three
phases (opposing).
With the input/output address area for power output modules (POM), the actual
and setpoint values for the individual power outputs are transferred per byte (0 to
100%).
When using an I/O module the following data is exchanged cyclically via the CIM:
PM4000 temperature: Compensation temperature / up to 8 measurements
PM4000 DI/DO: up to 16 digital outputs / up to 8 digital inputs
PM4000 U/I: the measurements of up to 3 voltages
3.2.2
Acyclic data exchange
The following data records can be exchanged with the heating control system (read
or write) via the system function blocks “RDREC” and “WRREC”.

Heating control systems HCS4200 and HCS4300 enable you to assign the power
outputs (channels) to fields. Two field types are available:
Field type 1 combines successive output channels. They specify the first and
the last channel for the respective field. You can create up to 32 fields. It is not
permitted to assign one channel to several fields. The highest assigned field
determines the actual assignment of the output channel here. The output
channels are numbered continuously (e. g. for HCS4300 POM2: channel 10 to
18).
