The AlgoRex system is configured such that it works differently depending on whether a re-
sponsible person is present or not.

To which sys-
tems does this
apply?

The 'Manned' and 'Unmanned' operating modes are of importance to the system in which the
signals of the automatic fire detectors and manual call points are processed in different ways,
i.e. the
Cerberus alarm concept
is activated.
·
Interactive detectors may also have a different sensitivity level depending on the 'Manned' or
'Unmanned' operating mode and depending on the parameter set.
Changeover

A changeover can take place:

Automatically
·
Manually using the menu
·
Manually using a button
NOTE
If several systems, organized autonomously, are operated using a shared multi-area
terminal and if not all areas are in the same operating mode,

The automatic changeover from 'Manned' to 'Unmanned' (and vice versa) can be programmed
by the service engineer.
