Unsuitable earthing accessories

Any use of inappropriate earthing accessories for remote cable compartment cover can
cause serious injury or death due to an internal arc.
☒ Please observe the manufacturer information and suitability of the earthing accessories.
⇨ The earthing accessories must be designed for the short-circuit currents of the

respective grid configuration.

⇨ The connections of the earthing accessories must be suitable for installation at the

switchgear.

DANGER

Incorrectly mounted connecting element

A connecting element on the earthing set which is not screwed flat to the earthing
connection leads to an insufficient current carrying capacity of the earthing. In the case of
remote cable compartment cover can cause serious injury or death due to an internal arc.
⇨ Bolt the connecting element of the earthing accessories flush to the earthing

connection.
