The front floor plate

can be mounted with the recess for the control cables on the left side or
on the right side.
4. Undo the 2 nut-and-washer assemblies M8

and the bolted joint at the fixing point of the
foundation

5. Take the front floor plate

out of the panel.
6. Lead the high-voltage cabled

into the cable compartment.
7. With a knife, cut an opening into the rubber sleeves

that fits the diameter of the
cable.
8. Push the rubber sleeves

onto the high-voltage cables.
9. Lead the control cables through the rubber sleeve

10. Insert the rubber sleeves

and

into the recesses provided for that purpose in the floor
plates.
11. Install the high-voltage cables and the cable plugs according to the manufacturer's
instructions, [ ▶ Page 103, "Connecting high-voltage cables"].
Switchgear with pressure absorber (IAC up to 16 kA):
1. Mount the cross member

[ ▶ Page 126, "Removing and mounting the cross member"].
2. Insert the front floor plate

into the switchgear. The front floor plate must be seated in
then grooves of the rubber sleeves

, and the lug of the cross member must penetrate into
the slot

of the front floor plate.
3. Bolt the front floor plate

together with the rear floor plate using 2 nut-and-washer
assemblies M8

4. Fasten the front floor plate together with the switchgear frame at the fixing point

of the
foundation.
5. Hook the cable compartment cover

in [ ▶ Page 125, "Removing and mounting the cable
compartment cover"].
✓ Cable installation is completed.
Switchgear with pressure absorber (IAC up to 21 kA):
1. Insert the front floor plate

into the switchgear. The front floor plate must be seated in the
grooves of the rubber sleeves

2. Bolt the front floor plate

together with the rear floor plate using 2 nut-and-washer
assemblies M8

3. Fasten the front floor plate together with the switchgear frame at the fixing point

of the
foundation.
4. Mount the front plate of the base

using 6 self-tapping bolts M6x16.
5. Mount the cross member

6. Hook the cable compartment cover

in [ ▶ Page 125, "Removing and mounting the cable
compartment cover"].
✓ Cable installation is completed.
7.21.6 Installing ring-core current sensors at the cable connection
INFORMATION
Current sensors for short-circuit and earth-fault indicators as well as for transformer
monitoring systems are only suitable for use with screened cable connection systems
(exception: Make Horstmann with the article numbers 49-6025-6xx for devices of the SIGMA
2.0 and ComPass series).
Ring-core current sensors are mounted on the cable plug during installation of the high-voltage
cables. The following current sensors can be mounted:
▪ Individual ring-core current sensors
▪ 3-phase ring-core current sensors
