Power supply
: The auxiliary supply voltage is to be applied to the 2-pole screw-type
terminal „115-250VAC / 24-250VDC“. For permissible values and tolerances refer to the
Technical Data (page 50). The earthing connection situated to the right has to be
connected to the protective earth conductor (ground).
Connection Notes
Screw-type terminals on terminal blocks
The terminal screws are slot screws and can be turned with a normal screwdriver
0.3 x 3.5 mm and 0.6 x 3.5 mm respectively.
The following connectors may exist (Fig. 12):

De-insulate the connection wires by a length of 9 mm (

in), insert into the screw-type
terminal until stop and secure in such a way that they cannot slip out when the screws are
tightened. After fastening, check that the connections are tight.

Direct connection: with solid bare wire or flexible wire for cross-section 0.2 mm

Fibre optic (ST-plug)
The fibre optic communication interfaces (Fig. 12) are provided with caps to protect the
optical components against dust or other contaminants. The caps can be removed by turning
them 90° to the left.
