Setting of the interfaces

6.3.1 

With the terminal program "Hyper-Terminal"

The terminal program ´Hyper-Terminal´ is delivered for all WINDOWS

®

9x and WINDOWS

® 

NT4 operational system software.

Start / Programs / Accessories / Communications / Hyper Terminal

After starting the program choose the serial PC-interface e.g. COM1 or
COM2 and select under it´s Properties the baudrate with 9600 Baud/s
and the data format with 8N1. Also the hardware handshake is
supported by the RS232 interface in this setting mode. Store this values.

Note!

 Any changes are stored only

after a disconnection and renewing
of the connection.

If the DIP-switch S2.1 is in "ON"
position, after energizing the Active
Mini-Starcoupler  the following text
appears in the terminal window. The
setting mode is active now.
