8.2.3.1 Image
In this group, you enter the parameters for image acquisition.

High sensitivity • Off
• On Off The "On" setting increases the light sensitivity by a factor of 4
compared to the "Off" setting.
This setting is especially useful for applications with high move‐
ment speeds or poor lighting conditions. The increased light
sensitivity causes greater pixel noise compared to normal sen‐
sitivity.
Note
This option should be deactivated for operation with a flash!
Exposure time 1 ... 14000 µs 3000 Shutter speed of sensor
Define the exposure time here depending on the value set un‐
der "Lighting". The setting range for the exposure time depends
on the flash used and on the selected mode ("Image acquisi‐
tion" → "Lighting"). If no flash is used, the maximum value is
14000 µs.
If objects are moving quickly or if there is oscillation, select
short times to avoid a "shaky image".
Brightness 10 ... 750 300 Define the brightness here depending on the value set under
"Lighting".
Higher values result in a brighter image and better contrast. The
disturbance due to noise in the image must be considered how‐
ever.
Note
Values under 64 are not recommended and can give rise to
errors.
8.2.3.2 Trigger
The parameters in the "Trigger" group are used for controlling image acquisition and processing.

Only "Auto-trigger" is relevant
In this group, only the "Auto-trigger" parameter is relevant for SIMOCRANE CenSOR MV540 H. All
the other options remain deactivated.
