The retroreflective foil acts like a "cat's eye" and is illuminated by an infrared LED flash fitted
directly beside the SIMATIC MV540 H CRANES camera.

• The light of the flash is reflected in the SIMATIC MV540 H CRANES camera.

• Sunlight or other extraneous light is thrown back in the direction of the source.

Heater
The reflectors are equipped with two surface heaters underneath the white areas. The heaters
switch on automatically at temperatures below 15 °C in order to thaw snow and ice. In extreme
weather conditions, it may still be necessary to manually clear the reflector of snow and ice.

Power supply
• Retroreflective reflector 300 x 300 mm, stainless steel with heater: 230 V AC; 80 W

• Retroreflective reflector 500 x 500 mm, stainless steel with heater: 230 V AC; 500 W

The SIMOCRANE CenSOR housing is designed for the extreme weather conditions to which
