Mounting and Dismantling

3.1

Installing the 3RW51 soft starter

Procedure

Mount the 3RW51 soft starter on a level surface (Page 34).

Ensure that the permissible temperature range and the necessary distances are complied

with.

Support Request (Page 23)

Optionally mount the fan cover (Page 32).

Optionally install the Standard or High Feature 3RW5 HMI.

-Installing the 3RW5 HMI Standard in 3RW51 soft starter (Page 36)
-Installing the 3RW5 HMI High Feature in the 3RW51 soft starter (Page 39)
-Installing the 3RW5 HMI Standard in the control cabinet door (Page 41)
-Installing the 3RW5 HMI High Feature in the control cabinet door (Page 44)
-Installing the 3RW5 HMI Standard on a flat surface (Page 47)
-Installing the 3RW5 HMI High Feature on a flat surface (Page 49)

Optionally install the 3RW5 communication module.
