Ex motor application

Set the "Ex motor application" parameter if the fail-safe motor starter is to switch and protect

an explosion-proof motor.

Note
ATEX Ex II (2) G D zones
You can use the fail-safe motor starter for explosion-proof motors that are situated in

ATEX Ex II (2) G D zones.
An ATEX approval is not possible with the motor starter when it is used in 1-phase operation.

An ATEX approval is possible by means of further measures such as thermoclick.

Note
It is not possible to set the motor protection to Class OFF in EX operation.
