5.6 Check Before Connecting the PV Modules
To obtain optimal result from PV inverter, please consider the following guidelines before
connecting the PV modules to the device:

Firstly make sure the maximum open circuit voltage (Voc) of each PV string does not
exceed the related specification as below table listed in all condition.

Check short-circuited current of the PV string. The total short-circuits current ( I

Attention:
Please select suitable external DC power plug/cable/connector with rating current
higher than Max. DC current of the Inverter.
Attention:
Please select suitable PV panel which has short circuit current less than Max DC
current of PV Inverter.

Always connect PV modules positive (+) terminal to PV inverter DC positive (+)
terminal; negative (-) terminal to PV inverter DC negative (-) terminal.
Attention:
Before connecting DC power to the Inverter, be sure to check the polarity of each
DC input pair is correct. Incorrect polarity connection would permanently damage
the unit.
Caution :
High voltages exist when the PV panel is exposed to the sun. To reduce risk of
electric shock, avoid touching live components and treat connection terminals
carefully.
