8.1
Operating options
The device is configured for operative use in a system using the configuration tools of
the PLC and the type-specific IODD file. Using requests, the sequence program of the
PLC controls access to the fieldbus and the IO-Link master on the device for reading
and writing the UHF transponder.
To demonstrate its operating principle, the device can also be set up with the SOPAS ET
configuration software.
NOTE
In addition to these operating instructions, we recommend using the type-specific
document “Technical Information IODD”:
•
For the parameterization and process data, the document lists the available
parameters and functions of the device.
•
This document assists the user when setting up the device for demonstration of
operative use.
