Open the Parameter editor and go to the
TransportLayerControl
category.

In the
GigE vision
sub-category, select the
GevCurrentIPConfigurationPersistent IP
check
box and then edit the
GevPersistentIPAddress
,
GevPersistentSubnetMask
, and
GevPersis‐
tentDefaultGateway
parameters.
3.
Re-start the camera to apply the updated parameters.

Adjusting focus

When the camera is connected, look at the 2D image and the laser line and do the fol‐
lowing adjustments:
1.
If needed, adjust the tilt of the camera so that the laser line is horisontal in the
image.
This is to make sure that the laser line appears along the sensor in the camera.
2.
Turn the focus ring of the camera until the image is focused.
3.
If needed, adjust the focus of the laser according to the instructions of the laser
manufacturer.
