Fault diagnosis 

SD card is removed while output is activated 

If the SD card is not inserted, RFID Access Management cannot run on the RFID 
interrogator.  
If the SD card is removed while the output is activated, the output retains the same status 
it had when the card was removed.  
If the door is not triggered by a signal edge, this can result in the access point remaining 
open. 
 

Tag is not read by the configuration device 

If the tag cannot be read by the configuration device, this may be because the tag is being 
held too close to the reading range or has been placed directly on the device.  
Hold the tag at an appropriate distance within the reading range.

If you cannot remedy the fault with the help of the information provided in this chapter, 
please contact your respective SICK subsidiary.
