Commissioning RFID Access

Management

Result

The RFU62x RFID interrogator used as a configuration device is shown in the list at the top
of the window along with its settings.

6.10.2

Recording RFID interrogators for the access control system

Now record all RFID interrogators for the access points.

IP address and connection type

1. Click

New

and enter the name, description, and IP address of the RFID interrogator,

as you did for the configuration device.

2. If the RFID interrogator is permanently accessible to the configuration PC, select

Permanent

in the

Connection Type

field, otherwise select

Temporary

Activating time management



Tick the

Time Management

checkbox so that the RFID interrogator uses the time stamp

from the specified time server. The IP address of the time server is defined on the

Integrator

tab.



If time management has not been activated, no time-dependent access rights can be
defined for the access point.

Time management can only be activated for RFID interrogators that are permanently
connected to the configuration PC and to which the connection type

Permanent

therefore applied.
If the connection type

Temporary

has been selected, the

Time Management

checkbox

is disabled.
