Information about the time server
Each RFID interrogator has an NTP (network time protocol) client, which synchronizes its
time with a time server in the network. If time management has been activated for the
individual access points (see chapter
), the IP address
of the time server is transferred to the corresponding RFID interrogator.
The network address of the time server is stored centrally in the
Time Server
section in
the
IP Address
field.
1. Enter the IP address of the required time server and the port to be used.
2. Set the time zone that applies to the access control system.
6.9.3
Storing the password for communication with the RFID interrogators
In the
Registration of device
…
section, enter the password that you have stored in the
SOPAS configuration software for the
Service
user level (see chapter
.
The password protects access to the RFID interrogators.
6.9.4
Configuring the RFID interrogator indicators
In the
Positive Feedback
,
Negative Feedback
, and
Neutral Feedback
sections, you can
configure the status indicators for the RFID interrogators.
1. Define the blink mode, LED color, and indicator duration with which a positive or
negative read result should be visualized.
2. Only the blink mode and LED color can be defined to indicate whether a device is ready
to start reading.
