3. Select the user role and enter the old password.
4. Now define the new password in the
New Password field. Entering the new password
again confirms that you wish to use the spelling entered in the previous field.
5. Click OK to confirm.
6.7 Saving the device configuration
You must save each displayed configuration in the non-volatile memory on the device.
1. To do this, go to the SOPAS toolbar and click the
Permanently Save Parameters icon.
The configuration is transferred to the device and saved there in the non-volatile
memory.
2. The configuration that is saved permanently in the device is loaded whenever the device
is restarted.
6.8 Launching ECS
6.8.1 Logging in as an Integrator
The Integrator user role is used to complete the initial set up and commissioning of RFID
Access Management. In contrast to the Operator user role, only this role may make central
system settings and record RFID interrogators as access points.
1. Launch
Entry Exit Configuration Software via the program group or the icon on the
desktop. The Login window opens.
2. Enter the default password password123 under Integrator .
3. Click the Login button to confirm.
The password can be changed later on in
ECS (see chapter 7.5.2 Changing passwords for
user roles ).
