In order to prevent interferences, do not lay the cable parallel to power supply and
motor cables (for example in cable dust) for a longer stretch.
Supply voltage
The ISD 230 system requires a supply voltage of 24 V DC ±20 % in accordance with IEC
742 (functional extra-low voltage). The continuous current consumption per unit is max.
0.4 A (without heater).
The SICK AMS 50-013/-012 connection module with integrated power pack or any other
power supply unit that supplies a voltage of 24 V DC in accordance with IEC 742 can be
used as a power supply.
