Starting the PC program “ImageFTP“
1.
To start the “ImageFTP“ program for outputting the images recorded in the ICR,
click .
The “Select IP address“ dialog box is then displayed:

Select the local PC address and confirm the dialog box with A
PPLY
.
The program window of ImageFTP is then displayed:
ImageFTP can only display images saved as BMP and JPEG data format.
If the
FTP connection
is started in the
Assistant
, the PC runs as server and the
ICR
automatically as client
. The program displays the actual connection status in the status
line at the bottom of the window (green = OK). In the standard reading mode, the client
function must first be assigned manually to the ICR with CLV Setup.

Move the program window to a free place on the screen, so that it is parallel to the
DataMatrix AutoSetup dialog box.

Represent the application-specific DataMatrix code in the reading area (no conveyor
movement). Reading distance:
ICR 840 (standard type): 80 mm (3.15 in) for side/front reading window.
At this reading distance the ICR provides a reading area size of 40 mm x 32 mm
(1.58 in x 1.26 in).
