Without electronics and therefore intrinsically safe.

Protection against contamination: Ex approved purge air unit.

Ex purge air unit

•

The purge air unit supplies filtered ambient air to the purge air fixtures.

•

Protects the windows of the SR-unit from contamination and high gas tempera‐
tures.

•

A purge air unit for connection to the SR-unit.

•

The purge air is blown into the gas duct through the “flange with tube”.

NOTE

The Ex purge air supply may not suction air from Ex zone 1.

Observe zone separation of the purge air supply, air may be suctioned only from
