The 5-pin OSSD Flexi Loop node is suitable for connecting
safety sensors with moni‐
tored semiconductor output (OSSD)
(e.g. safety light curtains or transponder safety
switches).
In addition it has a non-safe input
. Signal outputs from the sensors (e.g. for
signaling contamination) can be connected to this input. The safety sensors connected
are tested for discrepancy and sequence errors.
