MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the Model W1850 is relatively easy. Vacuum excess

sawdust, and wipe off the remaining dust with a dry cloth.

Wiping the table clean after every use ensures moisture

from wood dust does not remain on bare metal surfaces.

If any resin has built up, use a resin-dissolving cleaner

to remove it. Keep your table rust-free with regular

applications of quality lubricants.

Lubrication

For optimum performance from your machine, follow

this maintenance schedule and refer to any specific

instructions given in this section.

Daily Check:

• Loose mounting bolts.

• Damaged or worn sanding belt or disc.

• Worn or damaged wires.

• Any other unsafe condition.

• Belt tracking on pulley (

Page 28).

After Each Use:

• Clean/vacuum dust buildup on tables and motor.

After 50 Hours of Use:

• Check and correct V-belt tension, damage, or wear.

General

Since all bearings are sealed and permanently lubricated,

simply leave them alone until they need to be replaced.

DO NOT lubricate them.
