Using Bluetooth

Overview

Connect handset to other

Bluetooth

devices for handsfree

conversations, or to transfer

contacts.

On handset, place calls using the

phone number of a smartphone

or other device connected via

Bluetooth

or answer calls placed to

such a device. For details, see

P.1-16

Handset supports the following

Bluetooth

proﬁles.

HSP; Audio Gateway (AG)

HSP; Headset (HS)

HFP; Audio Gateway (AG)

HFP; Hands-Free (HF)

PBAP; PCE

PBAP; PSE

Handset supports simultaneous

connection with up to two devices.

Simultaneous connection to multiple

proﬁles is also possible. However,

handset cannot connect with two

devices simultaneously using the

same proﬁle.

Bluetooth

Precautions

Connection may not be possible with

some Bluetooth

devices.

Handset shall be connected to certiﬁed

Bluetooth

devices that meet the

speciﬁcation standards developed by

the Bluetooth SIG.

Transfers may fail even when target

devices are the certiﬁed Bluetooth

devices.

Noise may interfere with handsfree

conversations.

Check transmission range of target

devices to use with handset properly.

Maximum transmission range

between handsets is 10 meters.

(Transmission rate and range may

vary depending on conditions.)
