[3] Troubleshooting
1. Fax troubleshooting
Refer to the following actions to troubleshoot any of the problems men-
tioned in 1-4.
[1] A communication error occurs.
[2] Image distortion produced.
[3] Unable to do overseas communication.
[4] Communication speed slow due to FALLBACK.
•
Increase the transmission level SOFT SWITCH 8-4, 5, 6, 7, 8
May be used in case [1] [2] [3].
•
Decrease the transmission level SOFT SWITCH 8-4, 5, 6, 7, 8
May be used in case [3].
•
Apply line equalization SOFT SWITCH 8-1, 2
May be used in all cases.
•
Slow down the transmission speed SOFT SWITCH 6-5, 6, 7, 8
May be used in case [2] [3].
•
Replace the LIU PWB.
May be used in all cases.
•
Replace the control PWB.
May be used in all cases.
