PC Fax Setup
A full range of PC fax functions can be found in the Fax menu of the Multifunction
Desktop, including send, receive, log, and scheduling functions.
Before you can begin sending faxes from your computer, several settings are required in
the Fax Setup dialog box. To open the dialog box, select Fax Settings from the Fax
menu.
In the General tab of the Fax Setup dialog box, type in your name and your fax
number in the appropriate text boxes in the User Information field. If desired you can
also enter your company name and phone number.
Note:
You are required by law to include your name, fax number, and the date and time on
your faxes. The Multifunction Desktop will automatically print your name and fax
number as entered above, together with your system date and time, in a header at
the top of each of your fax pages. See the following page for information on
configuring the header.
