XI. VOICE COMMUNICATION

2. Voice Communication After An Operation

When the TALK function is used during a transmission or reception, a voice

request is made when the operation is completed.

NOTES:

If a person on the remote side does not answer the call within a short period
of time, the TALK mode is cancelled and the line is disconnected.

When receiving, check the Remote Terminal Identification of the other machine
which appears in the display to verify their identification.

When transmitting, the TALK function can be used after using a Rapid Key
or Speed-Dial Code (as well as a full telephone number) for dialing.

1. Transmission or reception is in progress.

2. Press the TALK key.

An arrow in the display points to “TALK’!

3. When transmission or reception is complet-

ed, the machine enters the TALK mode and
the message, “TALK REQUEST” appears in
the display.
